Energy Transfer
Nowadays ferrite core transformers are integrated into almost every switch mode power supply. In the majority of applications, the switching frequency is between 30 and 500kHz. In an output range stretching from a few watts up to kWs, optimized power transformers are applied. SUMIDA AG develops these transformers to meet customer specifications, taking the current VDE, EN, IEC and UL standards into consideration. These are based on winding forms with integrated creepage and clearance distances, bobbins with special wires or layer construction in open and potted versions.
